Thinking of taking the plunge and investing in new dining chairs?
I've compiled a few ideas to get you started from a range of suppliers - there are SO many choices and I know that once you get stuck in it's so easy to get lost in it all.

Before purchasing your new chairs it's important to consider the following:
Comfort - think about how long you usually sit at the dining table, is it for a short time? Do you or the kids work form the dining table (working from home or school work?) Comfort is key, so if you know that you might be sat in the same spot for hours, go for a chair which will support your lumbar region and choose a chair with an upholstered cushioned seat.
Short for space? Choose a chair without arms that can be pushed under the table.
Will they fit? If you are keeping your existing dining table and just changing the chairs then measure your dining table height and figure out how high your new chairs are and how wide your new chairs need to be to fit under it comfortably. Tip: avoid buying chairs that are less than 50cm wide as they are unlikely to be comfortable.
Quality Dining chairs will hopefully be with you for a few years, so best to invest as much as your pocket will allow. There are definitely bargains to be had, but keep in mind good quality furniture can last you a lifetime (or longer) and it will save you money in the long term.
Reuse If you’re looking for furniture, second-hand can be much cheaper than new and you can find amazing one-off items (especially quality items - see above).
Recycle And finally, rather than disposing of your old dining chairs or other furniture; perhaps donate them to charity, recycle on an online marketplace or ask family, friends and neighbours if they have a use for them. You could also donate through the Furniture Donation Network
