We were tasked with designing a nursery within an existing Victorian listed building located on the grounds of Ryde School. The objective was to create a whimsical Victorian-inspired nursery design. We reintroduced several Victorian architectural elements and incorporated playful bespoke joinery, such as the tree bookcase in the library and a "treehouse" in the ground floor classroom. We've received feedback indicating that the children are thoroughly enjoying the space and, overall, have become much calmer since moving into the new nursery.
